LinkedAI is a Chrome extension and website that writes resumes, cover letters and outreach messages tailored to jobs you find on LinkedIn. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we do not do.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address, through Google sign-in or email and password. We never see or store your Google password.
• Your profile. The work history, skills, education and contact details you enter yourself. This is the information used to write your documents.
• Job posting content. When you generate something, the extension reads the job posting currently open in your browser so it can tailor the output to it.
• Your generations. The resumes, letters and messages produced for you, saved so you can find and reuse them.
• Credit balance and payment status. How many credits you have and which plan you are on.

What we do not collect

• We do not read, store or have access to your LinkedIn messages, connections or private account data.
• We do not collect your browsing history. The extension only reads the page when you actively click to generate something.
• We do not store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
• We do not sell your data to anyone, for any purpose.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.

How your data is used

Your profile and the job posting are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce your document, then the result is returned to you and saved to your account. That is the only purpose. Anthropic does not use API data to train their models.

Where it is stored

Account data, profiles and generations are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore). Access is restricted so that only you can read or write your own records. Payment records are held by Stripe.

Your rights

• See your data. Everything we hold is visible in your profile and history pages.
• Change it. Edit or clear your profile at any time.
• Delete it. Email us and we will delete your account and all associated data.

Children

LinkedAI is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and notify users through the extension.
